A large 30 x 30″ (765 mm x 765 mm) Oil Painting on Professional Linen Canvas. 1.45″ wide (37 mm). Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading and can be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe packaging. This painting was completed in 2023.

Whispers of Light: Landscape Painting: An Original Landscape by Artist Kirsten McIntosh
Whispers of Light: Landscape Painting was captured whilst travelling in the South Island. At the time I was disappointed that it wasn’t a sunny day. On reflection, and whilst painting it, I just love the moodiness of the image. Lovely colours are cast over the whole scene.
We were staying at Te Anau for a week’s holiday. We were heading out to the beautiful Milford Sound. My family and I stopped at this beautiful spot at Mirror Lake. After visiting this tranquil spot we then got a flat tyre. In reflection, we were pleased for the moment of tranquility.
I just love how this painting came together. In particular I just love the water in this piece. I feel that there are areas of interest right throughout the painting. I want the viewer to be lead on a journey up through the Painting. Eglinton Valley and up to the Earl Mountain Ranges.
This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This painting was completed in June 2023 for the Welcome Swallow Galleries ‘Winters Collection’
