The original painting has many oil and acrylic layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe packaging. The original painting was completed in 2019. The watermark logo seen in the image is to prevent the image being used without permission.
Please allow one week to process your order, whilst I make sure it is in pristine condition and to create postage and packaging for shipment. I’ll be in contact with the exact timeframes to ship it to your destination.

Where the Rivers Meet – Cromwell is a print of a commission that I did for a client (with permission obtained). It was a painting that she commissioned for her husband who grew up in Cromwell and had fond memories of the township.
I understand that this image is not how the township looks today. Many people may recognise the scene from years past. The image is the confluence of the Kawarau River and the Clutha Rivers.
The challenge for me in this painting was to get the township and the streets to look right. This took quite some doing. There is so many intricate details in this painting. Which makes it ever so sweeter once it all comes together.
My favourite part of this painting is where the rivers meet and the beautiful colours in the swirling water.
I really feel that the colours merge in this painting and it is very cohesive. The rich colours in this painting are unified. I only use five or so colours so that all of my work has a consistent look.
