Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated on the back.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading.
This piece is hand painted on a box canvas. This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe & packaging. This painting was completed in 2022.

Summer in the Waikato: NZ Landscape painting.
Lake Karapiro, near Cambridge, is such a special place to spend some time over Summer. It is often used by boaties, skiers, wakeboarders and of course rowers.
I have tried numerous times to capture the Waikato River so that I can paint it in all its glory. But it is quite a hard area to capture.
One day I was heading back from work and I stopped and photographed this image. I love how it shows some NZ shrubs and trees and the glistening water beyond. It was a spectacular day! An iconic NZ landscape.
I often kayak on this river and are never alone with the roar of wake board boats – it is indeed a well used stretch of water.
Futhermore I adore all of the colours in this painting, hence I always want my works to look consistent. I use six or seven colours in my paintings. With this in mind I am trying to achieve harmony within my whole landscape series.
