Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading.
This piece is hand painted on a box canvas. This painting has many acrylic layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe packaging. This painting was completed in 2022.

Peace at Last – Lake Tarawera: NZ Landscape Painting: An Original NZ Landscape painting of a jetty in beautiful Lake Tarawera in Rotorua by Artist Kirsten McIntosh
A very tranquil soothing painting of the jetty at Lake Tarawera. I was struck by this picture that photographer Chris Gin has taken (and used with authorisation). I just loved all of the beautiful colours and how this image made me feel. It was a time during covid where I felt that I needed this serenity.
There’s nothing more special than taking the time to view a beautiful sunset and I hope this is how it makes the viewer feel.
I’m always drawn to paintings of water and to see the reflections and the tranquility that this brings. In particular I love to paint sunsets and especially when they reflect into the water.
