Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated on the back.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading.
This piece is hand painted on a box canvas. This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe & packaging. This painting was completed in 2023.

Okere Falls Boat Sheds:
The canvas came alive with the vivid colors of Lake Rotoiti and the surrounding landscape. At its heart were the iconic boat sheds, standing proudly at the water’s edge. Their wooden facades seemed weathered by the passage of time, yet they exuded a timeless charm. The crystal-clear waters of the lake mirrored their image flawlessly, as if Nature herself was admiring their beauty.
Native New Zealand flax plants adorned the foreground, their long, elegant leaves swaying gently in the breeze. Behind them, a backdrop of native trees created a lush, verdant frame for the scene. The juxtaposition of the deep green flax against the cool blue waters and the rich colours of the boat sheds.
“Okere Falls Boat Sheds” was more than a painting; it was an invitation to escape, to find solace in the simplicity of a lakeside retreat. It reminds viewers that in the midst of a bustling world, there are still places where one could connect with the serenity of nature and the timeless beauty of New Zealand’s landscapes.
Futhermore I always want my works to look consistent. Six or seven colours are used in my paintings. I am trying to achieve harmony within the painting and my whole landscape series.
