A large 36 x 24″ ( 914 mm x 610 mm) Oil Painting on Professional Linen Canvas. 1.45″ wide (37 mm). Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading and can be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe packaging. This painting was completed in 2023.

Journey into Light: Landscape Painting: An Original Landscape by Artist Kirsten McIntosh
Journey into Light: Michael Kagerer is the photographer of this piece and has given me approval to use his image.
The feeling of climbing up into the light was what drew me to this image and the beautiful colours of the light in the trees. It reminded me of the many bush walks and adventures that I have been on, and I loved the challenge of creating that depth as you step over each rock and climb up and journey into the light.
I love the colours in this painting and the softness of the overall palette. I have added a few touches of interference paint to create a luminosity on the dew dropped moss and ferns.
This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang with the edges all being painted to continue the painting onto the sides.
