Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen.
It is painted on the edges so no need for framing.
Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading.
This piece is hand painted on a box canvas. This painting has many acrylic layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe & packaging. This painting was completed in 2014.

‘Birches in Autumn’: An Original Alaskan Landscape but it could be anywhere in the world.
My husband and I spent a few months travelling through Alaska. It truly was an amazing experience. The landscape is so very special along with the wildlife which is abundant.
We travelled there in Autumn and the colours on the grasses, trees and fields was spectacular. A very beautiful place to visit.
I was struck by the Autumn (Fall) colours in this photo and all of the golden leaves on the ground. Also the depth of the trees with the misty look around them which makes the scene magical. Inspired by Nature!
I found it difficult to get all of the leaves on the ground and it was quite some process and it was so important to getting the birch trees looking just right. I also tried really hard to create the depth in the painting.
As a rule I always want my works to look consistent. Hence only six or seven colours are used in my paintings. I am trying to achieve harmony within the painting and my whole landscape series.
This painting comes framed, however it could be easily removed if needed.
