A medium 21.5″ x 21.5″ round (550 mm) Acrylic on Mirror with layers of Blue Resin.
Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated on the back.
This painting has many acrylic/resin layers that build up the colours and depth.
This comes ready to hang and shipped in safe & packaging. This painting was completed in 2018.

Beautiful Bouquet: NZ Floral Painting painted by Kirsten McIntosh
Beautiful Bouquet: NZ Floral Painting came about after my sister gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, they were so lovely and soon enough they will fade so I thought I would capture them forever.
I haven’t painted many floral arrangements before and know how important it is to get them looking just right. It was a real challenge but one that I loved.
This painting is on a framed mirror and then I layered it with a translucent blue resin, many layers of acrylic paint and then it is finished with a clear resin.
The painting comes framed in a leather strap to hang to give a contemporary look to the painting.
For the most part I always want my works to look consistent. Hence only six or seven colours are used in my paintings. I am trying to achieve harmony within the painting and my whole series of work.
Please note that due to the reflective nature of resin the photograph is showing some reflections.
